The study aimed at investigating the impact of work pressures faced by public relations employees in the Palestinian universities and how they deal with them to mitigate or alleviate them. To achieve this goal, a descriptive correlational approach was adopted using a survey tool distributed to public relations employees in Palestinian universities, with a study population of (144) employees, with (100) employees responding.
The study found that there is a moderate impact of the various forms of work pressures faced by public relations employees in Palestinian universities. This can be explained by the diverse job responsibilities undertaken by these employees. Furthermore, among the factors causing work pressures at a moderate level were content creation, social media management, and representing the university to external entities. Additionally, factors of adaptation to work pressures within the study community, including enhancing appreciation, providing sufficient resources, and offering psychological and social support, were also found at a moderate level. These results can be interpreted by the reasonable working conditions within the university, indicating that work pressures are more related to the workload than the overall conditions within the university.
