The study aims to Development Of a self-regulation scale based on the graded response model (GRM), using the descriptive survey method, to achieve this objective, the researchers have translated the self – regulation scale for (Gaumer Erickson & Noonan, 2016), which consisted of (22) items using Likert five-step scale. The scale was applied during the academic year 2018 -2019 to a sample of 258 students (123 male and 135 Female) of undergraduate students from Al-Ahliyya Amman University. The validity construct were examine on a pilot sample, where the correlation coefficients between the item and the scale ranged (0.023 - 0.784), and on the main sample ranged between (0.293 - 0.604), overall the reliability coefficient of the pilot sample was (0.890) and the main sample (0.826), and marginal reliability (0.87). Results of the study indicated that (IRT) assumptions (unidimensionality – local independence – speededness – item Test Information Function- Item Characteristic Curve) were achieved in the study data. Also the threshold intervals value, Mean and standard deviation showed the accuracy of estimation parameter item difficulty. The results also find 4 items were not matching the GSM. And didn't find any item that showed a Differential Functioning according to the GPA or the Academic level.
