The study aims at deducing pedagogical aspects found in night-prayer chapter in Sahih Al-Bukhari via the titles which are heading sections. It also aims at focusing on the most important aspects such social-pedagogical aspect, psychological-pedagogical aspect, and moral-pedagogical aspect, all depending on inductive-analytical methodology.
The study is divided into three parts: the first part is about explaining some concepts related to pedagogy, night-prayer, and sections’ headings. The second part concentrates on types of titles which are mentioned by Al-Bukhari in his Sahih in night-prayer chapter. The third part is about the pedagogical aspects which implied in sections’ titles.
One of the most important results that the study shows is the socio-pedagogical aspect was represented by being responsible. The psychological-pedagogical aspect was represented by being stable and moderate. The moral-pedagogical aspect was represented by being patient, having self-control, being kind, thanking and being merciful. All these aspects aim at preparing people to be able to stand in front of Allah with confidence, stability, and piety. They urge Muslims to spend some time at night performing night-prayer requesting Allah’s Mercy.
