Each Language has its own identity which is framed by its phonetics, phonology, morphology and syntax. And each culture has its pillars also. These pillars are its language and religion. These two pillars are connected.

Religion is usually expressed by language. The heavenly sent instructions are taught to people via religious books. Thus, these books are usually written or recited in the language of that nation. For example, the Old Testament came in Hebrew, and the Holy Qur’an came in Arabic.

Both were sent from the same source. However, each has a different language.

This specification is to keep the identity of a nation as the language is a pillar of that identity.

Another source of religion is what is said by the prophet of that nation.

As our paper is prepared to discuss translating Islamic concepts into English, we will specify the discussion to be only about Arabic Islamic concepts which are mentioned in the Holy Qur’an and the prophetic hadiths.

The vocabulary and the syntax used in the Holy Qur’an are to meet the vocabulary and syntax of Arabic. The prophet also used to use the vocabulary and syntax which were common amongst his nation.
