This study worked on analyzing selected poetic models from the collection of poems (Al-Naqis Minni) by the Palestinian poet Jad Izzat Al-Ghazawi. In it, the implications of cultural patterns were researched, and the archives they hold for various legends, based on the data of cultural criticism and the legendary approach, the study specialized in research in three patterns; The female pattern corresponding to the implicit Ishtar pattern, the male pattern corresponding to the implicit Tammuz pattern, and the intersection of the first two patterns corresponding to the mating pattern between Ishtar and Tammuz.

The study concluded a number of results, , the most important of which is that legend constitutes an important tributary of common human culture, if not the most important tributary, and that cultural criticism and the legendary approach are consistent in that they are looking into the unconscious of the writer, and that the legend is related to ideology; Because it was formed at an early stage of human consciousness, and therefore its cultural shadows fall on various types of culture, especially literature, and that the Palestinian literature’s representation of legend is an attempt to prove its historical existence in front of the common human culture, and the cosmic language that is the language of legend.
