In regions burdened by conflict and political instability, such as Palestine, the pursuit of environmental awareness and climate consciousness faces unique obstacles. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict, ongoing for decades, has deeply impacted the lives of Palestinians, daily routines, and long-term aspirations. Under the weight of occupation, Palestinian Media Study students find themselves grappling with numerous challenges that divert attention and resources taking away the focus off environmental concerns.

This study aims to explore the effect of occupation and conflict on the environmental and climate awareness of Palestinian Media Students. By examining the experiences, perspectives, and attitudes of Palestinian students towards environmental issues, this research seeks to highlight the critical role that conflict, and occupation play in shaping choosing environmental topics to report on within regions and zones of conflict.
