— Various planning literature is tackling the strategies, street transformations, and urban development projects of the 15-minute city planning model, however, the literature shared about the architecture of a 15-minute city is limited. This paper explores the potential of using the building technology of prefabricated urban units as an architectural sustainable paradigm in a responsive context to the planning model. The investigated geometric and service flexible units are argued to reform the distribution, proximity, and accessibility to services in some planning blueprints. Paralleling with the response of the 15-minute planning model to Covid, the paper finds that collected local observations in Nablus stressed the need to re-envision the neglected inclusive, dense, and accessible services highlighted during Covid. By integrating analysis of the structural system, the environmental considerations, and the norms of sanitization into the model, an architectural paradigm is set.
