This study examines the approach that Al-Alusi took in proving unseen issues through his interpretation (RUH AL-MA'ANI), intending to explain the features of this approach and his method for proving these issues
To achieve this objective, the interpretation of the Qur’anic verses related to these issues was studied in Al-Alusi's Tafsir, and Alusi's opinion was extracted from it
The study found that Al-Alusi relied on the ancestral and the posterior approaches for interpretation. His approach of proving matters of faith revolves around three schools of thought, namely: interpretation, delegation, and proof. Accordingly, the proof is derived based on the approach of the predecessors, interpretation, and delegation are derived from the successors' approach.
