The COVID-19 pandemic, which began its spread as of late 2019 in China, has resulted in direct effects in everyday life across the world. Today, it has affected more than 112 million people with a death toll of 2.48 million around the world (Malik and Naeem, 2020). It has also impacted the global economy and affected over two billion workers. However, this pandemic had a different impact on men and women, including health, social, economic, and psychological implications. Pandemics and outbreaks have differential impacts on women and men.
