This study attempts to present a set of principles and constraints related to semantic theory in the cognitive context. This is based on a basic assumption that states that the subject of semantic theory is a scientifically open topic that deals with various data: linguistic, cognitive, perceptual, logical, social, and cultural. Based on the foregoing, this study seeks to organize the semantics within the framework of the study of concepts.  By focusing on the conceptual semantics of Ray Jackendoff. The study first identifies a set of principles and constraints for conceptual semantics , then defines secondly the concept of conceptual structure and its relationship to semantic theory.
