The researcher used the semi-experimental method by applying the study to a sample of (74) female students of the tenth grade in the secondary school of girls in the district of Tulkarem, Introduction to Organic Chemistry "from the chemistry book for the tenth grade in two groups (experimental and control), in the second semester of the year (2016/2017).
To actualize the purpose of the study, the researcher used the problem solving test, and the teacher guide were prepared for the experimental group.
The analysis of variance (ANCOVA) showed presence of a statistically significant difference between the means of grades of the students on the problem solving test favors of experimental group.
Based on the results, the study recommended the following. first, the important of using the strategy of teaching of chemistry because of its role in developing problem solving skills, second the study also recommended the preparation of other studies in other subjects in chemistry, and the study of other variables in addition to the variables studied by the study.
