The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between psychological stress and perceived social support among An-Najah National University students in light of the Corona pandemic, in light of the variables, gender, academic year, and place of residence (students residing in Palestine 1967, students residing in Palestine 1948). Participants were 254 volunteer undergraduate students.  Data was collected using the psychological stress scale, and perceived social support.

Results showed that the psychological stress among the students was moderate, and the level of perceived support from friends, family and significant others were high. Furthermore, students who had high level of   perceived support from friends, family and significant others also presented more psychological stress. in addition to, the family support was the highest among the university students comparing with friends, and significant others support. the result also showed that there were no significant effects of demographic variables on psychological stress and social support, except that the 1948 Palestinian students were less psychological stress and higher family support than the 1976 Palestinian students. These findings suggest that universities should create strategies to improve social support to protect students from the negative effects of psychological stress.
