The Levant region includes three major tectonic structures. This region is part of our study that located between latitudes (27°–35.5°) N and longitude (32°-39°) E. The most important one is the Dead Sea Transform fault system (DST), which is considered to be a keystone of tectonic structures and the most important seismic source in the region.

Many local observatories monitor the local seismicity in the Levant region. These observatories have used different parameters during the routine earthquake location, which directly effect on the location accuracy. The most important of these parameters are Vp/Vs ratio, the velocity model, network geometry…

The local seismicity during the time period of 2010-2016 was used to study and compare the local seismicity by using different parameters.
