The Levant region includes three tectonic structures. This region is part of our study, which located between latitude (27°–35.5°) N and longitude (32°-39°) E. The most important one is the Dead Sea Transform fault system (DST), which is considered to be a keystone of tectonic structures and the most important seismic source in the region. Many local observatories have monitored the local seismicity in the Levant region, which have installed modern seismic stations since 1980s. These observatories have used different parameters during the routine earthquake location, which directly effect on the location accuracy. The most important of these parameters are Vp/Vs ratio, the velocity model, network geometry… For this study, the local seismicity during the period of 2010 to 2016 was used to study and compare the local seismicity by using different parameters.
