The reality of technical education in Palestine

The study aimed at identifying the reality of technical education in Palestine and the challenges facing this type of education and how to overcome them, to achieve the objectives of the study, a descriptive and historical approach was used. This study distributed the challenges at five levels (qualification of teaching staff, policies and strategies, educational systems "curriculum", students, equipment and devices).

The results of the study showed the urgent need to qualify the cadre in terms of technical and pedagogical and the need to develop curricula, and provide material equipment such as workshops and laboratories, and to find clear policies and strategies to adjust salaries and provide appropriate rewards for employees.

The study recommended the need to spread the culture of technical education and attention to the rehabilitation of teachers and provide moral and material incentives for them and emphasize the need to raise the level of admission to technical colleges and work to provide teaching plans, laboratories and workshops to keep pace with scientific developments periodically in addition to providing scientific references for students of technical college.
