Focusing on the contribution of reflective journals to teaching practice amongst student teachers, this study examines the experience of reflective journal entries of student teachers in their practicum course in the Faculty of Education at An-Najah National University in Palestine. Quantitative and Qualitative research approach was employed for this study including open-ended questioning techniques (Survey and interviews). The results of the study revealed that the use of reflective journal during practicum course for pre-service teachers would enhance creativity, critical thinking, writing skills, and teaching skills, improve their language, and lesson planning. The findings of this study have implications for how reflective journals can be employed and used in school-based context and pre-service teacher education.
