Nowadays, agriculture in Palestinian Jordan valley goes through palm trees agriculture due to the saltness of water resources in the region. However, this agriculture has many difficulties like the loss of water and the disposure of the palm fronds residue every harvest season.

There are more than 100000 of palm trees in Algiftlik with very limited water resources either salted (TDS about 3000 ppm) or polluted with waste water.

Several projects were performed in the past years to treat or desalt the water resources in that region but many of these failed or not completed.

The object of this study is to try to find a process to treat the public resource which polluted in waste water from Nablus city or decrease the saltness of water in the wells in valuable way.
