The current study aimed to identify the relationship between the degree of optimism and the performance of volleyball players in the excellent degree in the West Bank, and the researchers followed the descriptive approach in order to suit the symptoms of the current study, and the study sample consisted of (45) players, thus the sample constituted (42%) of the size of The original community, and applied to them a measure of optimism that was designed by the researchers after referring to many educational literature and previous studies. To process the data, the researchers used a one-way analysis of variance in "One way ANOVA" and "T. Test". Among the most important findings of the researchers was the degree of optimism among volleyball players in the excellent degree in the West Bank is high, and also from its results that the degree of optimism plays an important role in the performance of the players, and the current study variables did not affect (the playing center, number of years of play, age) In the degree of optimism among the excellent volleyball players in the West Bank, researchers recommend conducting various studies on the topic of optimism and its relationship to team results.
