Outsourcing has created new opportunities for firms. However, it has also created new challenges related to breaches in labor rights and working conditions. This has stimulated stakeholders to strictly monitor supply chain members' social responsibility. Although several research studies have focused on social responsibility from buying firms' perspectives, only limited attention has been given to suppliers. Therefore, the main objective of this research paper is to explore the different approaches adopted by suppliers to manage social responsibility. It contributes to supply chain management research stream by drawing attention to the different factors that influence the adoption of specific practices.
