This research discusses one of the important issues that Sayyid Qutb presented in his interpretation, which is Dar al-Islam (territory of peace) and Dar al-Harb (territory of war or chaos) through examining some of the Quranic verses that reflected this matter. This study came to clarify this issue and explain its allegations to know the implications of Dar al-Islam and Dar al-Harb's concept in dealing with people, societies, and nations. The study concluded that dividing regions into Dar Islam and Dar Harb is an authentic issue of Islamic jurisprudence, as it has evidence from the Qur’an and Sunnah. Qutb’s opinion emerged from his understanding of the Qur’anic verses, and his view is compatible with the opinions of the majority of Muslim scholars, and not related to the conditions of his adversities and imprisonment. Therefore, accusing him of extremism and exaggeration because of this division is not very truthful, and not based on a scientific methodology of induction and analysis.
