This research examines the role of think tanks in shaping public policies of Palestinian Authority institutions, and to what extent think tanks have contributed to rationalizing the political decisions of the Palestinian Authority. The main problem of the study was the reasons that led to the weakening of the role of think tanks in the drawing up and shaping of public policies of the Palestinian Authority, although the institutions of thought in the Palestinian society were a precedent for the existence of the Palestinian Authority.
In order to reach the objective of the study, it is necessary to focus on the functioning of the think tanks and their effectiveness. It sets the general policies within the institutions of the Palestinian National Authority, especially after decades of marginalization and insufficient attention to the institutions of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA), making their role weak and marginal. To think about the developed countries of the world, as well as to read the problems that hampered the march of think tanks in Palestine.
