ABSTRACT
This study aims to illustrate the fact of the presence of ( this wāw althamaniya (‘the waw of eight’) in the Arabic language and to
demonstrate the opinions of the Arab linguists and Quran
in addition to discussing their evidence in order to reach ،Interpreters
the most appropriate opinion. This study has shown that this “wāw” is
an idea that does not exist in the Arabic Language and there isn’t any
evidence that can support it in the Arabic Speech or in the Quran
and that any given proves by its Affirmers from the Quran is ،Verses
not valid and may sometimes contradict with the context of the Quran
illustrated altogether with the ، after that،Verses. These Verses were
concept of “wāw al-thamaniya” in the Quranic Verses which are the
core of this research.
