The Effects of Using Computerized Cooperative Learning on 8th Grade Students Achievement in Mathematics

The aim of this study was to reveal the effect of the use of computerized cooperative learning on the achievement of the eighth grade students in mathematics, In order to achieve the objective of the study, the semi-empirical approach was used to take two groups, one experimental and the other control, where the sample size of the study (128) students from the eighth grade, both the pre and post tests were used for both groups. The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of (α = 0.05) between the achievement scores of the students who learned through the computerized cooperative learning method (the experimental group) compared to the students who learned in the traditional way (the control group) For the experimental group, where the mean of the experimental group (23.04), while the control group obtained an average of (16.82). In light of the results of the study, the study recommended a number of recommendations to activate cooperative learning in schools.
