Electric field on an infinite plane of uniform charge via Laplace and Fourier transforms

In this paper, we consider two electrostatic systems and compute the magnitude of the electric field on the surface of each surface. In the first one we use Laplace transform method and in the second we use the integral Fourier transform. In both systems we demonstrate how to find the electric field at points of discontinuity.
