The Effectiveness of a Training Program in Improving Teachers of Basis Stage Attitudes’ Toward Educational Counseling

The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of a training program in improving teachers' attitudes toward educational counseling among teachers at public schools in north of west bank, the sample of this study consisted of (96) male and female teachers, they were distributed into two group; experimental and control groups, for the purposes of this study, a training program consisted of (16) session was constructed, the research also used a scale includes (40) items to measure teachers' attitudes before and after program. Results of study indicated the effectiveness of the training program in improving teachers' attitudes toward educational counseling. Based on the results, the researchers recommend improve counseling services at schools by encouraging teachers to cooperate with counselors and applying more training programs for other categories of teachers
