Nafez joined An-Najah University in 2006. In addition to teaching courses in Economic Law at ANU, he works as a lecturer at Al Quds Open University where he teaches courses in Commercial Law. He has previously taught Civil Law courses at Al-Quds University. In addition to expanding his teaching experience, Nafez is involved in a number of commercial projects and also works as a trainer at the national parliamentary and presidential elections committee. There, Nafez trains employees of the committee on the intricacies of the electoral process and helps oversee the organization and implementation of the electoral operations.

After he completes his PhD, Nafez wishes to continue his academic career at An-Najah University.
