Before joining An-Najah, Loai worked as a legal advisor from 1996 – 2005 for the Ministry of Al Waqf and Religious Affairs, where he represented public interests by reviewing treaties and investment contracts between private sector and the ministry. He also served as the director for the Independent Commission for the Human Rights in Nablus, responsible for all the north district offices. Since 2014, he has served as the General Director for the Governorate Affairs at the President’s House office in Ramallah.
His prior research was published in 2010 by the Independent Human Rights Commission and currently, he is working on developing the branch of administrative judicial court within the supreme court.
In addition to teaching at An-Najah University, Loai has taught at Al Quds, Modern University and Al-Quds Open University. His aim is to further develop Administrative Law courses at An-Najah and to enrich the theory with his personal experiences, using real cases and examples.
