Dr. Odeh is An Assistant Professor at an-Najah National University, Department of Civil Engineering since 2005. He got his B.Sc, M.Sc. and PhD  in Civil Engineering from the Middle East Technical University (METU), Ankara Turkey. He also worked in international universities such as Eastern Mediterranean University(EMU) and Cyprus International University(CIU) and METU. Dr. Odeh worked as a professional civil engineer in many engineering firms and institutions of the international context, such as John Laing – Sir Owen Williams JV.  British based leading international companies where he acted as a Senior Structural Engineer/ Seismic Engineer; team leader, for the project of Seismic Retrofitting and Design of State Hospitals in Istanbul and Izmir for the Republic of Turkey, Prime Ministry, Project Implementation Unit and Disaster Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Project Co-ordination. 3511-TU International Bank Project.  Dr. Odeh has several publications in International Journals (SCI), and International Conferences and received many awards.

Dr Odeh is interested in Structural Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering, Earthquake Resistant Design. Seismic Retrofitting and Design of Structures. Strengthening and Repair of Structures, Pre- and Post-Earthquakes. Analysis and Design of High Rise Buildings, Bridges, Water Tanks, Tunnels. Finite Elements, Structural Optimization and Nonlinear Analysis. He speeks Arabic, English and Turkish fluently.
