Course Description

This course provides a foundation for students to start early with their project through writing training and practical insight into the research process. The course aims at offering students more insight into the project writing process behind successful items of article writing by working with a project progress reports within a spirit of the team for the future thesis. The project progress report forms the basis for the article writing and the allocation of a supervisor.

 

Course Objectives

By the end of the course students will be able to:

 

  • Choose relevant knowledge related to their topics of interest.
  • Develop their topics to a clear, researchable question that can be investigated within the given time and resource limits.
  • Carry out a project with the support of a supervisor.
  • Argue scientifically, structure an article and follow the good scientific use of references.
  • Carry out a systematic search in the library, in scientific and other databases, and interpret and evaluate data and literature critically.
Intended learning Outcomes and Competences

By the end of the course students will be able to:
