The objective of this course is to improve the student’s knowledge and understanding regarding theory and concepts underlying financial accounting and preparing financial reporting. In addition to the accounting treatment of some items and gain intellectual and practical skills related.
Knowledge and Understanding, the students should be able to:
Discus the framework of financial reporting and explain the three levels.
Identify the content of the income statement and retained earnings statement.
Identify classified statement of financial position statement and cash flows statement.
Explain the financial assets and cash and cash equivalents and the current and non-current receivables.
Identify and apply inventory valuation and Describe inventory's reporting issues
Intellectual skills, the students should be able to:
Analyze the effect of conceptual frame work's levels on financial reports and on individual's decision making usefulness
Apply the basic principles and assumption and constraint in preparing financial reports.
Practical skills, with ability to:
