Course Description

The course presents varieties of reading texts about different educational and Teaching  issues. The texts are chosen from educational and teaching references to enhance students abilities to do advance readings, analyze the reading materials make summary and criticize and evaluate.

Course Objectives
  1. Students are going to be presented to different texts in the field of education specifically teaching strategies and techniques, advanced issues in teaching and learning
  2. Provide students with ample opportunity to read and comprehend .
  3. Know different strategies related to teaching and learning.
  4. know different psychological issues related to teachers and learners.
Intended learning Outcomes and Competences

 

          Students are expected to:

 

  1. Read the texts and discusses the main concepts.

 

 

  1. Show understanding about the concepts presented.

 

  1. Analyze the reading material and do summaries.
  2. Be able to give presentations and participates in arguments related to the reading material.
  3. Choose videos about the chosen topics and analyze the information.

Collections of different essays from various up-to-date references, For each essay students are going to have a list of references for further reading.

Articles about advanced readings issues chosen carefully to develop students’ ability to read, analyze and apply in the teaching learning situations.
