The module is structured to take a student, through a step-by-step clinical dispensing experience training process with more complicated dispensing scenarios, this course should be taken after completing the theoretical course Ophthalmic Optics (7107205) +Ophthalmic Optics Lab (7107215). Clinical Dispensing 1 covers frame materials and selection and provides ideas for fitting high plus and minus prescriptions. It covers all basic measurements—segment heights, PDs, frame sizes—and some other topics that are not so common. Have you ever wondered why we use the pantoscopic tilt or wrap frames a little, or ever thought about modifying segment heights when
 ordering vertical prism? It has an exhaustive coverage of frame manipulations and adjustments, including many that most practitioners would not ordinarily consider.
