Course Description

Student will prepare graduation project under staff members supervision. this project will be evaluated by staff committee in the faculty.

Course Objectives
  1. To prepare undergraduate students for advanced educational goals, such as a master or a PhD or any other postgraduate program.
  2. To provide research training to undergraduate students seeking for future academic, industry or government positions.
  3. Training for students how to interpret and present their research work to audiences by scientific way.

Training students to use their medical education and training skills to conduct research studies related to their future field work

Textbook and References
  • The project should be based upon the proposal of “original” research conducted by the student/s and must include new knowledge in their field of study. A simple summary of work by others in any given field is unacceptable.
  • The work must be carried out under the supervision of the course instructor/s.
  • Student or a maximum group of four students must first present his/their own idea using the appropriate form (Project Proposal Abstract). Upon supervisor acceptance of student's idea, the student/s must present his/their own proposal with a presentation to the supervisor for approval before start with their project within first two weeks.
  • The work must be carried out within the faculty facilities or other approved research labs by the supervisor.
  • During the semester, a brief report must be submitted by students describing the progress in their work which made to date and the anticipated remaining work.
  • It is expected that the project will be completed before the end of the semester.
