I received my first degree (B.Sc.) from Al-Quds University, College of Science & Technology in Jerusalem, Palestine in 1992 in Computer Science, I graduated at the top of my class and placed on deans honour list. My Master degree is MBA ( Management Information Systems ) from An-Najah N. University in  Nablus, Palestine in 2001. At present, I am a faculty member at An-Najah National University, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, Management Information System Department. I was the Head of Management Information Systems Department, An-Najah N. University, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology [2004-2010]. My research interests in the field of data science, data mining, simulation, DSS, computational sciences and optimization..

I was one of the main Information Technology team members of the project titled: Inventory and Assessment of the Existing Data Collection and Management Systems used by different water service providers in West Bank to support Palestinian Water Authority's  Water Information System (WIS)  – West Bank, Palestine. Donated by United Nations CHILDREN'S FUND (UNICEF).  In 2008 I was a database designer and developer for a project titled  : Legal and Institutional Framework for Strategic Development Planning at the Regional Level. The outputs are for the benefit of Ministry of Local Government ( MoLG ), the work was sponsored by the UNDP. The main assignment was to develop the database required for the project using DevInfo.  In 2007 I was a member of the team of a project titled:  Building the Health Information System  for Palestinian National Authority (PNA)  (Ministry of Health). In 2011 I was a member of a steering  committee  for establishing Information Technology  Incubator at An-Najah N.  University and PPU, sponsored by QIF ( Quality Improvement Fund ) Projects aided by The World Bank. As  Business  System  Analyst and  Information System Developer I was the main team member for developing several computer base information systems  to the local market to meet the needs of intermediate and small companies in Palestine such as :

• Accounting information systems( Al-Zamil )
• inventory management, Production management, payroll and personal management.
• Auditing Information system ( Al-Mudakek) providing many tasks needed by auditors such as error free detailed information about their customer’s accounting systems, credits & debts, receipts and mony files, and tax services.
• Municipality Electricity and Water Billing System Management.
• Hotel Management System,
• Bus Station Management system
•  Library Management system
