AWARDS

• 2019-2021: Al Maqdisi-2019 Grant from the French consulate in Jerusalem. Project title: Identification of Palestinian patients with congenital disorders of glycosylation and characterization of their disorder at the biochemical and molecular levels.
• 2012-2016: An Najah National University in Palestine/French consulate in Jerusalem joint scholarship covering my Master and PhD studies 
• 2002-2009:  Awarded “the Palestinian President Scholarship" for being ranked fifth in Palestinian West Bank general secondary education examinations (scientific stream). This award covered my expenses during my study for MD degree

• January, 2017 – present: Assistant professor of biochemistry at the faculty of medicine and health sciences, An Najah National University, Nablus, Palestine. 
• September, 2012 – October 2016: Master and PhD studies at UPMC. Training under the supervision of Dr. Stuart MOORE at Centre de recherche sur l'inflammation UMR 1149 Inserm, Faculté de médecine Xavier Bichat, 16 rue Henri Huchard, 75018 Paris
• August, 2009 – August, 2010: Internship at Tulkarm Governmental Hospital, Bethlehem psychiatric hospital and Palestinian Ministry of health primary care clinics

• An Najah national university: Electronic teaching and Medical Research training workshops (several sessions over the last academic year 2020/2021)
• Laboratory skills: Cell culture (yeast and mammalian cell lines), metabolic radiolabeling, RNAi transfection, subcellular fractionation, preparation of microsomes and radioactive lipid substrates, enzyme characterization and assays, TLC, HPLC and chemical analyses of reaction products (mainly carbohydrates), Western blot and oligosaccharide characterization.
