Reem started teaching at An-Najah University in the summer of 2015, directly after obtaining her Masters degree from Vilnius University in Lithuania.

Before she joined the Faculty of Law, Reem was a member of the legal clinic at An-Najah and also received a certificate in human rights from a local human rights organization for her contribution in the field.  Reem was the top student in her class with the graduation average of 3.80 out of 4, which placed her as the top scoring graduate in the history of An-Najah. As a result of this achievement, Reem was awarded a scholarship by the EU to study in Lithuania. In Lithuania, Reem was able to both integrate into a local culture and meet other international students, which was an experience that equipped her with nuanced communication skills and appreciation for cultural diversity. She enjoyed her time abroad, participating in a variety of cultural exchange activities through music, food and scholarly discussions. During her studies at Vilnius University, Reem specialized in International Legal Studies, focusing on International and European Union Law.

Here, at An-Najah, she teaches all fields in the Public Law, International Law, Human rights and Humanitarian Law, International and Territorial Organizations and Diplomatic Law.

With respect to her growth as a lecturer, Reem would like to advance the existing scientific research procedures to raise the skill level of the student research involvement. She is now studing PHD in International Law and Human Rights at Utrcht University in the netherlands, and she seeks to engage in the community-based work of local and international non-governmental organizations.
