Biography

Dr. Emmad Saadeh completed his BSc in computer science at Jordan University in 1995, a MSc in computer science at Al-Quds University in 2004 and a PhD in software engineering in 2009 at University of Pretoria – South Africa. Prior to joining the CIS department at An-Najah National University he worked for nine years as a lecturer at Arab American University in Jenin. At An-Najah University he was appointed in the CIS department as an assistant professor in 2011 and served as head of department between 2011 and 2013. He finished his PhD in the field of Software Engineering where his research concerns software evolution and refactoring. He developed a new refactoring approach, called the FGT-Based approach, that uses a new paradigm. This new approach is promising and is being accepted by the software engineering research community. He published many papers at journal and conference level in his field.
