Biography

Dr. Abdel Karim Daragmeh has a PhD in modern and comparative literature and literary theory from Southern Illinois University and works currently as a faculty member at the Department of English Language and Literature. Dr. Daragmeh’s research interests are in African, Arab and American contemporary literatures, translation studies, new teaching and learning initiatives, and academic professional development programs. He has published articles on post-colonial and minority literature, comparative translation between Arabic and English, the establishment of centers for teaching and learning, and blended language learning environments.
