The Middle East has seen the fastest growing urban populations in the world for the past 50 years and longer – with growth consistently higher than in China or Africa. As a result, over 70% of people live in urban areas across the region, bringing it to the level of Europe. The region’s economy is traditionally a trade & commerce based due to its distinguished geographic location, but given the huge resources & liquid capital, big change is expected for the drive towards industrialization.

Given opportunities & emerging economic factors, the Middle East region is being considered for investment & commerce especially the Gulf Countries. Despite the political instability in the region, most governments are investing heavily in infrastructure (Gulf Countries, Jordan, Egypt, etc.).

Conflicts have interrupted basic access to food services, education & health, & the protracted displacement of people in the fragile economies has generated a refugee crisis that creates economic pressures for host countries & amplifies fundamental health & welfare challenges.

This aim of this presentation is to analyze the potential sectors of industrialization in M.E. as well as the global economic prospects of 2018 on MENA. It also includes the practices of Industrial Parks in M.E.
