Forty Palestinian soil samples were collected from different locations in the west Bank-Palestine.The samples were sealed in Plastic bags. Then they were examined in SESAME using Globar infrared source in the mid region in the diffuse reflectance mode. Work is still in progress to identify clay minerals in the samples.
