Let H be a finite solvable group admitting an automorphism B of prime order p where it is not assumed that p does not divide the order H . we assume that B acts on H in such a way that the order of any element of the semi direct product H lying outside H divides p q^m for some prime q different from p and a fixed natural m. A bound for the fitting length of H is determined.
