The study aimed to identify the level of life satisfaction among physical education teachers working with people with special educational needs in schools in the Umm al-Fahm region, in addition to identifying differences in life satisfaction among teachers according to the variables of gender and teaching experience.
The study was conducted on a random, stratified sample of 49 male and female physical education teachers. The researchers used the descriptive method in one of its forms, the correlational and analytical method, due to its suitability with the nature of the study. To collect data, Diener et al. (1985) measured life satisfaction. To process the data, the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) program was used.
The results showed that the level of life satisfaction among them was high, with a mean of 4.10. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences in life satisfaction among teachers due to the variables of gender and teaching experience.
The study recommends holding periodic psychological guidance courses for physical education teachers to develop their ability to face challenges and pressures while teaching students with special educational needs. Keywords: life satisfaction, physical education teachers, students with special educational needs.
