This study examines how female debaters from An-Najah National University embody Sumud, a form of Palestinian resilience rooted in preserving identity, culture, and community amid ongoing apartheid. Drawing on Sumud (Awayed-Bishara, 2023) and Critical Feminist Theory (Crenshaw et al., 1995), it explores how these women confront linguistic and gender-related challenges while asserting leadership and cultural identity. Using semi-structured interviews, the research investigates their experiences, focusing on cultural resilience, female leadership, and linguistic resistance. Findings aim to highlight the role of debate in empowering women, fostering resilience, and advancing Sumud within Palestinian higher education.
