Postoperative hospitalization is defined as the duration from the date of the index operation to the date of discharge from the hospital. prolonged hospitalization defined as a LOS greater than 11 days . Postoperative ICU is defined as the duration from the index operation date to the date of discharge from the ICU. prolonged ICU LOS, defined as ICU LOS for 5 days or more.
