The use of High Strength Concrete is widely used for columns as it could offer smaller sections. Exceeding capacity of columns due to increasing of demand or deterioration of concrete sections requires strengthening to match design limits. Recently, CFRP sheets wraps offers an attractive column strengthening technique for Engineers. This paper investigate, numerically, behavior of High Strength Concrete columns that are wrapped using CFRP sheets. Different columns with different shapes are simulated using ABAQUS software to study strength and ductility behavior of confining high strength concrete columns using CFRP wraps and compare them with known standard behavior of ordinary concrete columns. Different parameters are investigated; grade of concrete, shape of section, and width/thickness aspect ratio. Concrete damage plasticity model is used to simulate the complex behavior of concrete while plasticity models is used for steel reinforcement. At the same time, CFRP is modeled as elastic material with rupture failure. The developed model is constructed considering contact between concrete and CFRP to capture possible de-bonding failure. Results showed different behavior of strengthened high strength concrete in comparison with normal concrete columns. However, relatively, similar behavior is observed for the effect of width/thickness aspect ratio
