The aim of this study was to demonstrate the availability of problem solving, communication, mathematical representation standards in the tenth grade mathematics textbook in Palestine. The sample of the schooling consisted of the tenth grade mathematics textbook which was certified for teaching in Palestine schools in 2017/ 2018. To achieve the goal of the study, an instrument was developed to analyze the contents of the mathematics textbook based mainly on the document of the international standards issued by the National Council of teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) 2000. The validity and reliability of the instrument was confirmed. The descriptive research methodology was followed in this study. The results of the study revealed that the degree of availability of the problem-solving standard and mathematical representation in the tenth grade mathematics textbook is generally weak, where they were really two percentages (16% and 13%), respectively, while the degree of availability of the standard of mathematical communication was high by 71%. The degree of availability of appearances for both the problem solving criteria and the mathematical representation and communication in the book varied, ranging from very weak, often moderate to sometimes high. The study reached a number of recommendations, including the need to inform the authors of mathematics books on the standards issued by the National Council of  Mathematics Teachers (NCTM) when planning and development of the curriculum of mathematics. Keywords: NCTM standards, mathematical problem solving, mathematical representation, mathematical communication.
