The research aims to find to what extent are the needs of the intermediate diploma in anaesthesia and resuscitation compatible with local market requirements and global developments.   

 The study sample consisted of 150  from students of anaesthesia and resuscitation in Al - Rawdah College of Professional Sciences, physician anesthesiologists, anesthesia technicians, administrators  and academics (those who teach anaesthesia and resuscitation program and program requirements) in Nablus, Ramallah and Jenin District as a model for field study,  between Agustus , 2019 and September,2019.

To achieve this, the researchers used the descriptive analytical approach by applying a questionnaire divided into four areas to identify to what extent are the needs of the intermediate diploma in anaesthesia and resuscitation compatible with local market requirements and global developments.

The results show that the arithmetic average of the four general areas which formed the questionnaire, that the needs of the intermediate diploma in anaesthesia and resuscitation are compatible with local market requirements and global developments with high grade (3.48).

Also, the results show that there is no statistically significant relationship between demographic variables (gender, age, job title and experience) and the compatibility of the needs of the intermediate diploma program in anaesthesia and resuscitation with local and international market requirements at the significance level (α = 0.05)

While there is a statistically significant relationship at the level (α = 0.01) between the general and specific objectives and the compatibility of the needs of the intermediate diploma program in anaesthesia and resuscitation with the requirements of the local and international market.

The results also show the presence of a statistically negative correlation between the needs of anaesthesia and resuscitation students in technical colleges and the compatibility of the intermediate diploma program in anaesthesia and resuscitation with the requirements of the local and international market.

The results were interpreted in the light of the literature of the study and a number of recommendations were presented to focus on the importance of harmonization between the objectives, strategies of education and mechanisms of evaluation and quality in technical colleges in the field of anaesthesia and resuscitation. in addition to the importance of working to renew and develop curricula related to anaesthesia and resuscitation in technical colleges according to the local and international market needs.
