Eng. Fadia Hashaika is a Communication Engineer and currently works in the Department of World University Ranking at An-Najah National University, Palestine. In this strategic role, she is responsible for evaluating and enhancing the university’s global standing, with a focus on increasing academic visibility, international reputation, and research influence. Her work involves comprehensive analysis of global ranking indicators and the development of targeted strategies to elevate institutional performance across major university ranking frameworks.

In addition, Eng. Hashaika is the Coordinator for the Sustainable Development File under the Deanship of Scientific Research and Rankings. She leads institutional efforts to align academic and operational practices with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), contributing to the university’s growing impact in the fields of sustainability, research, education, and community engagement.

Her professional experience spans a wide range of international cooperation and research development roles. She has previously worked within the Project Management Unit, the Technology Transfer Office, the International Grants and Projects Center, and the Energy Research Center at An-Najah National University. Over the years, she has played a key role in the management and implementation of numerous EU-funded and internationally supported projects, particularly within the frameworks of Horizon 2020, Erasmus+, ENPI/ENI, Interregional, and Cross-Border Cooperation (CBC) programs such as the Mediterranean CBC (ENPI/ENI CBC-MED), among others.

Eng. Hashaika is recognized for her ability to build strategic collaborations with national and international institutions, NGOs, and funding agencies. Her core expertise lies in international development cooperation, research and innovation policy, and higher education project management. She remains committed to advancing impactful initiatives that contribute to An-Najah National University’s leadership in sustainability, innovation, and global academic engagement.
